1947 Secret Fishing Weapon Revealed...

Introduction To Saltwater Fishing Tackle

Hello and welcome to my blog about saltwater fishing tackle. Whether you are brand new to saltwater fishing, or you have been doing it for years, you will find loads of information on saltwater fishing tackle here. I will cover everything that you need to know, from all the types of saltwater fishing rods and reels that their are, to the fishing line, to all of the terminal tackle that you will need to become a successful fisherman. You will learn about what you need to have on hand to so some pier fishing, what kind of cast nets you will need for catching either bait, or other types of fish that you can net like mullet for instance. You will learn how to, and when you will need a gaff, and there will also be multiple reviews on new saltwater fishing tackle that comes out on the market.

The main thing is that I will be covering saltwater fishing gear, not freshwater, but you are able to use saltwater fishing tackle to fish in freshwater, but it cannot be done the other way around. There will also not be anything about shooting some fish with hunting rifle scopes, just fishing. Fishing tackle that is made for saltwater is made to resist corrosion from saltwater, and therefore it can be a little more expensive than the fishing tackle that you might use for freshwater.

You will also learn how to shop for certain types of saltwater fishing rods and reels, so before you go out buying stuff you must first decide what type of saltwater fishing it is that you will be doing most of the time. There are many types of fishing that you can do when it comes to saltwater, some of the basic types are off shore fishing, flats fishing, surf fishing, fly fishing, pier fishing, and bottom fishing. These are the main types that I will be covering in this blog, so that way you will already know what kind of saltwater fishing tackle you will need before you go out there.

I do a lot of freshwater and saltwater fishing. I didn’t know you could use saltwater tackle in freshwater, but not vice versa. It’s good to know that I could use my saltwater reels and other tackle in freshwater if I wanted. Thanks for the tip.
